The Jets elevated Sanders from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Sanders will once again be the Jets' primary kicker for the third consecutive week and is set to suit up for Sunday's game against the Lions. The 30-year-old has now expended all three of his practice squad elevations, meaning he will need to be signed to the Jets' active roster to kick for the team in Week 4 against the Bears.
