Jets' Garrett Wilson: Slow start continues

Wilson caught five of eight targets for 41 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Broncos.

Wilson fumbled at the end of a seven-yard catch on New York's opening drive and wasn't targeted again in the first half. He was more involved after halftime, but Wilson notably failed to get on the same page with Aaron Rodgers on a key pass that would have put the Jets into field-goal range on the team's penultimate possession. A combination of inclement weather and tight coverage from Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain limited Wilson's effectiveness Sunday, but this game continued a pattern of underwhelming performances from the Jets' No. 1 wide receiver. Wilson has yet to exceed 60 receiving yards in a game this season heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Vikings in London.
