The Jets will sign Pierce, who is set to serve a two-game suspension to start the 2016 season, NFL.com reports.
Matt Forte and Bilal Powell currently top the Jets' RB depth chart, but Pierce will give the team added backfield depth heading into training camp, with Khiry Robinson a candidate to open camp on the PUP list and the team planning to waive Zac Stacy with a failed physical designation.
