The Seahawks hosted Matthews (knee) for a tryout Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Matthews appears to have recovered from the torn ACL that forced him to spend the entire 2023 season on IR with Houston. Now, the San Diego State product will work to earn an opportunity with Seattle, where he could offer upside as a special-teams project due to his speed.
