Jaguars' James Robinson: Set for bigger workload Thursday

Robinson is in line for an expanded role Thursday in Cincinnati with Carlos Hyde a scratch for the contest, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Hyde has vultured 21 touches and one red-zone rush through three games, reps that will now be available for Robinson and potentially special teamer Dare Ogunbowale. For the season, Robinson has averaged 14.3 touches for 84 total yards per game while scoring one touchdown. With that baseline and his primary competition for snaps out of the picture Thursday, he could be in line for the type of usage he experienced as an undrafted rookie last year (20.6 touches per outing).
