The Cowboys signed Abanikanda to the practice squad Thursday.
Abanikanda has been on and off the Cowboys' practice squad of late. He was signed to the active roster ahead of the 28-20 loss to the Giants in Week 1, though he didn't make an appearance before being waived Tuesday. There's a chance Abanikanda could suit up for the Cowboys again this season, but he's not expected to be much of a contributor.
