Vereen had 14 carries for 42 yards and three catches for 24 yards Sunday against the Saints. He also lost a fumble.
Vereen, who had only 61 carries in 16 games all last year, took on extra work after teammate Rashad Jennings left with an arm injury. It's unclear whether Vereen will get more work on the ground going forward, but there's some PPR upside if he sees more regular carries to go along with his usual pass-catching workload.
