Vereen rushed four times for 13 yards and caught two of three targets for seven receiving yards Sunday against the Jets.
Vereen was never expected to make a big impact rushing the ball, but he hasn't done much as a receiver over the last four weeks either, failing to reach even 30 receiving yards. With the Giants splitting the backfield touches between Vereen, Rashad Jennings, Andre Williams and Orleans Darkwa, there's little upside to be seen.
