Football Team's Jaret Patterson: Totals 98 yards

Patterson rushed the ball 12 times for 57 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to Philadelphia. He added five receptions for 41 yards.

Patterson dominated work out of Washington's backfield in the absence of Antonio Gibson (hip/undisclosed). He accounted for 12 of Washington's 22 rushing attempts, though no other back recorded more than four carries. Patterson also made the most of his opportunity, averaging 4.8 yards per attempt while also opening the scoring in the contest with an 11-yard dash to the end zone early in the first quarter. While that was positive enough, Patterson also also finished second on the team in receptions and third in receiving yards. Assuming Gibson returns for a Week 18 matchup against the Giants, Patterson will likely be relegated back to a peripheral role in the offense.
