Football Team's Jaret Patterson: Gets four more carries

Patterson took four carries for seven yards in a 29-19 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday.

The undrafted rookie played five snaps (seven percent) and took one carry in each of the game's four quarters. It was a smaller workload than what Patterson got directly before Washington's Week 9 bye, but that was in a 17-10 loss to Denver during which Antonio Gibson's shin injury flared up. While it could still be an issue again, Gibson managed 24 carries for 64 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's upset win, with no report of a setback along the way. That likely limits Patterson to a handful of touches, or perhaps even less, in Week 11 against the Panthers.
