Everett (personal) was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list Friday.
The move comes as little surprise following news that Everett suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident Thursday night. Though the safety's injuries are said to be non-life-threatening, a female passenger in the vehicle did not survive. Given that context, thoughts about Everett's potential return to action should be secondary to the tragic consequences of the accident.
