Falcons' Matthew Bergeron: Signs four-year extension

The Falcons signed Bergeron to a four-year $96 million contract extension Saturday, Will McFadden and Tori McElhaney of the team's official site report.

Bergeron is set to make $60 million in guaranteed money, per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. The left guard has started 49 regular-season games of a potential 51, and has been a model of consistency and production for the Falcons since being drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Bergeron is now locked up through 2030.
