Patterson had four carries for 25 yards and one reception (two targets) for 14 more yards in Sunday's 43-3 loss to Dallas.
Patterson had his worst total yardage output since Week 4 when he combined for 39 yards against Washington, and the one reception marked a new low for the season. The only bright spot in an ugly performance was the dual threat's rushing efficiency (6.3 yards per carry). The Falcons were down 36-7 at halftime, so they rested their better playmakers, resulting in Wayne Gallman getting 16 touches 76 yards during garbage time. Patterson has been a unique and highly-effective fantasy asset for the Falcons this year, so his managers should write this off as a rare dud heading into a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Patriots.
