Mathews (concussion) didn't practice Monday and remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Mathews will likely miss a second straight game, though a Tuesday return to practice might give him a shot to suit up. Kenjon Barner got seven carries in Mathews' absence during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, but DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles might be the real beneficiaries in a game that's competitive.
