Pumphrey ran the ball 12 times for 37 yards and caught all five of his targets for 37 more in the Eagles' third preseason game against the Dolphins.

Pumphrey has struggled since being drafted in June but showed improvement in this one. He contributed in multiple facets of the game and showed "real flash" for the first time this preseason, according to Reuben Frank of CSN Philadelphia. Because he was a fourth-round pick, the rookie is likely to make the 53-man roster, but until he adjusts to the pro game, he is more of an understudy to Darren Sproles than someone who is worthy of a roster spot in fantasy leagues.
