Gaskin (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Gaskin handled a workhorse role (23 touches) in his return from a four-game absence Sunday against the Bengals, so the Dolphins may just be capping his reps for maintenance purposes to begin Week 14. The fact that all of Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), DeAndre Washington (hamstring) and Matt Breida (illness) were either limited or non-participants in Wednesday's practice could also influence Miami to take a cautious approach with regard to Gaskins' health. The second-year back will look to ramp up his activity as this weekend's matchup against the Chiefs approaches.
