Pead (hamstring) did not practice Tuesday and will not play in Sunday's Week 1 contest, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
Pead has not practiced in over a week due to an uncooperative hamstring. Listed as fourth on the Dolphins' official team depth chart, the 26-year-old was not expected to get much run in Sunday's affair anyhow. Barring any setbacks, Pead could be available for Week 2 action.
