Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Bumps up practice activity

Elliott (knee) was listed as a full participant Tuesday on Dallas' practice report, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Though Dallas merely held a light workout Tuesday that head coach Mike McCarthy described as a "run-through," Elliott apparently would have taken full reps if the Cowboys held a more traditional practice session. Elliott's activity seemingly clears up any concern about his status for the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game against the Raiders, and the running back himself relayed Tuesday that his right knee has shown improvement since he aggravated a lingering bone bruise in Sunday's loss to Kansas City, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. Though Elliott doesn't plan to rest for any games while he manages the injury, the Cowboys could look to scale back his workloads to some degree, especially while No. 2 back Tony Pollard continues to excel when given the opportunity.
