Cross (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.
Cross was a full participant in Wednesday's practice but downgraded to limited for the Thursday and Friday sessions. The safety appears to have contracted a significant illness and will be unable to suit up for Sunday's game. Quan Martin is the sole active safety for Week 5 outside of starting free safety Jeremy Reaves.
