Alie-Cox will operate in an expanded role against the Vikings on Sunday due to the absence of Tyler Warren (groin), Abby Halpin of the Colts' official site reports.
Alie-Cox and Will Mallory will both operate as the top tight ends for Sunday's contest in the absence of Warren, who is missing a second-straight game due to a groin injury. Alie-Cox saw only one target in a Week 6 loss to the Titans, but he made that one catch count for a one-yard score in the first quarter.
