Davis carried the ball for 13 yards on five carries and snagged a 12-yard pass in Sunday's loss to Minnesota.

Davis took a backseat to second-year back Charcandrick West in Jamaal Charles' first game out following a season-ending knee injury. Davis was Charles' primary backup in 2013 and 2014 and has managed to score 12 total touchdowns in a little over two seasons. His career yards-per-rush averaged of 3.39 may be contributing to West's first dibs at opportunities. The backfield situation in Kansas City will be one to monitor given their ball-control tendencies and it will be intersting to see whether Davis'experience and West's late-game fumble put Davis in the driver's seat come Week 7 against Pittsburgh.
