Cowart signed a contract with the Chiefs on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Cowart is now slated to join the reigning Super Bowl champs this upcoming season following Friday's agreement. The 26-year-old spent this previous campaign operating as both a rotational defensive lineman and as a special-teams contributor as a member of the Colts.
