McConkey (ribs), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, "has made rapid progress" and "has every intention of playing," Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.
After sitting out practice the first two days of the week, McConkey was able to sneak in a limited session Friday. Though Pelissero relays that a final decision on McConkey's status won't be made until later Sunday, fantasy managers can expect him to avoid the Chargers' inactive list, which will be released 90 minutes prior to the game's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, McConkey is working his way back from a cracked rib and has improved more steadily than anticipated since suffering the injury in last weekend's season-opening loss to the Cardinals. McConkey is expected to wear a flak jacket to offer further protection for the rib Sunday, assuming he gets the green light to play, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
