Njoku (fibula) wasn't activated from IR-designated to return ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Njoku returned to practice this week, but was limited all three days before being deemed doubtful for Week 9 action. The TE's next chance to play will arrive Monday Nov. 16, when the Chargers face the Ravens.
