Thompson (quadriceps/hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
Thompson was active in Week 6 during the Chargers' last game before their bye, but he ended up not playing any snaps, presumably due to the quad injury that kept him out for the prior three contests. Now his availability for Week 8 is in doubt, and he'll probably have to return to practice Thursday or Friday to have any chance to play Sunday against the Rams.
