Melton (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
There was optimism that Melton would be cleared to play, but the third-year defensive back will be sidelined by a knee issue and observe Sunday's game from street clothes. Kalen King is in line for more defensive snaps due to the absence of Melton, whose next chance to play is Week 8 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 1.
