Cardinals' James Conner: Scores once again

Conner rushed 10 times for 39 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Panthers. He also caught three of four targets for 25 yards.

Conner didn't approach last week's monstrous output, but he still managed to find the end zone once again. With an 11-yard rush during the fourth quarter, Conner brought his season total to 12 touchdowns, including 11 on the ground. That score helped compensate for an otherwise modest performance in which Arizona's usual second and third-string quarterbacks led the offense. The team will hope star signal-caller Kyler Murray (ankle) can return versus the Seahawks next week, but with fellow tailback Chase Edmonds (ankle) recently placed on injured reserve, there's no doubt Conner will continue to lead the backfield charge no matter who is throwing the ball.
