Edmonds injured his ankle during Sunday's game at San Francisco, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Edmonds limped off the field slowly in the early moments of the contest. At the time of his departure, he had one carry for three yards. As long as Edmonds is sidelined, James Conner will be the Cardinals' lead runner, and with Jonathan Ward (concussion) inactive Sunday, Eno Benjamin is the only other RB available to the offense.
