Edmonds was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to rib and toe injuries, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Edmonds has earned two straight starts in place of an injured James Conner (heel), combining for 47 touches for 209 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown. The elevated workload has left Edmonds compromised on the health front, however, while Conner managed a limited session to begin Week 18 prep. Edmonds will have two more chances to put himself on a path to active status Sunday versus the Seahawks, but the script again may flip for the two running backs when it comes to which of the two serves as the top option out of the backfield.
