Ellington earned 10 of the Cardinals' offensive snaps Sunday at Carolina, gathering in his sole target for 16 yards.
Outside of one offensive snap in a Week 3 beatdown in Buffalo, Ellington has hovered between six and 14 such snaps per game this season. His touches have thus been limited behind workhorse David Johnson, resulting in 53 yards on 15 carries, 37 additional yards on five receptions, and no touchdowns across eight contests. Ellington has also handled nine of the Cardinals' 12 kick returns, but at a meager clip of 16.7 yards per, so he hasn't been much of a threat to reach the end zone in any capacity in 2016.
