Coach Bruce Arians relayed Monday that Ellington is dealing with turf toe, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
Meanwhile, fellow RB Chris Johnson is dealing with a knee contusion, with the status of the duo for this Sunday's game against the Rams not yet solidified. Next up for the Cards' carries if they miss time are David Johnson, Stepfan Taylor and possibly Kerwynn Williams, who is currently on the team's practice squad.
