Ellington (toe), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, could also miss next Thursday's game against the Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ellington is reportedly set to meet with a specialist to examine his turf toe, and with the quick turnaround to the Thursday night game, it won't be nearly enough time to get him healthy enough to play. With Chris Johnson (knee) also out, David Johnson is expected to start in their place, with Stepfan Taylor and Kerwynn Williams getting the backup touches.
