Ball (quad) was held out of practice Monday, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
Coach Bruce Arians refused to get into the specifics regarding Ball's absence from practice, but he did mention that Ball has been sidelined due to a quad injury. The 31-year-old is expected to function as a depth cornerback for the stout Arizona defense this season.
