The Giants waived Jones on Saturday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Jones signed with the Giants in late March after playing in 10 regular-season games for the Jets in 2025. Assuming he clears waivers, Jones will look to sign with a team in need of a linebacker who can contribute on special teams.
