Jones rushed eight times for 63 yards and caught both of his targets for eight yards in Sunday's 9-0 loss to the Saints.
Leonard Fournette (hamstring) went down on Tampa Bay's first drive of the second half, leaving Jones to handle most of the rushing duties for the remainder of the contest. The severity of the former's injury is unclear at the moment, but we should get some clarity on that front in the coming days. Jones performed well in a pinch, as he was seemingly the only Tampa Bay offensive player that the Saints did not have an answer for (7.9 yards per carry). If Fournette is unable to suit up against the Panthers next Sunday, then Jones figures to take over starting duties with Ke'Shawn Vaughn (3-19-0 on Sunday) taking over the backup role.
