Martin carried 16 times for just 42 yards and was not targeted in the passing game during Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Cowboys.
Martin had found the end zone in consecutive games heading in, but he was smothered by a sound Cowboys run defense and averaged an underwhelming 2.6 yards per carry. His season has been quite disappointing considering the large contract he signed in the offseason, as he has averaged just 2.9 yards per carry with three touchdowns, missing six games earlier in the campaign due to injury. Martin has still been a featured player in an improving offense and will look to bounce back next week against the Saints.
