Sims (ankle) was a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Sims sustained an ankle injury during Monday's practice, after which he received treatment. In the aftermath of drills Tuesday, head coach Dirk Koetter said that the Bucs will take a wait-and-see approach with Sims, but if the status of any of their "proven" players is in question, "we'll hold them out." With a DNP just days before Tampa Bay's preseason opener Thursday in Philadelphia, Sims is clearly a candidate to take a seat.
