Jeffcoat (hamstring) was placed on the Browns' PUP list Friday, Dan Labbe of cleveland.com reports.
Jeffcoat is reportedly nursing an injured hamstring that he suffered during Thursday's team conditioning test. Entering his third season in the league, Jeffcoat figures to serve as a depth linebacker for a Browns team that added the likes of Demario Davis and Joe Schobert to the linebacking corps this offseason. In his first two seasons, Jeffcoat has recorded six tackles in nine career games.
