Gordon recorded 13 rushes for 31 yards in Sunday's Week 2 win over the Jaguars. He added two receptions for 38 yards.
Gordon split carries evenly with rookie Javonte Williams, with both backs often entering the game on the same drive. Gordon failed to impress with his opportunities as his longest rush went for just eight yards, and he picked up an average of just 2.4 yards per carry. He was largely inefficient in Week 1 against the Giants as well but ripped off a 70-yard touchdown to pad his final line. Given Gordon's inability to consistently pick up yards, it wouldn't be surprising to eventually see Williams earn the majority of the work out of the Denver backfield.
