Sutton's absence was to be expected less than 72 hours after he suffered a concussion in the first half of Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Patriots. If he clears the five-step concussion protocol ahead of this weekend's game against the Chargers, Sutton will be on the receiving end of passes from Jarrett Stidham rather than Russell Wilson, who has been moved to the bench for Denver's final two games of the season.
