The Steelers signed Johnson to the practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
The Raiders released Johnson during Sunday's cutdown day. The wide receiver was dropped by the Steelers in early June but will return to the franchise's practice squad for the regular season. Johnson played in three regular-season games for the Steelers in 2025, catching one pass for nine yards.
