Sims (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement with the Dolphins on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Sims was placed on injured reserve by Miami with an undisclosed injury Sept. 1, and he was set to miss at least four contests to open the 2026 campaign. The tight end will now be free to sign elsewhere once he's back to full health.
