Carey carried the ball seven times for 28 yards in Monday's win over the Chargers.
They seven totes were the first offensive touches of the season for Carey, who had been inactive for four of the Bears' previous seven games heading into Monday. However, injuries to Matt Forte and Jacquizz Rodgers moved Carey up to second on the depth chart, and he turned in a good showing behind starter Jeremy Langford. However, unless Langford suffers an injury of his own, Carey isn't likely to notice much larger of a workload in the weeks to come.
