Carey was removed from Monday's game against the Eagles due to a hamstring injury, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Jeremy Langford handled the opening drive of Monday's game, but Carey appeared to play the entire second series, and then played the first couple snaps of the next drive. Carey likely hurt his hamstring during that third series, as Langford has since gotten most of the playing time, with rookie Jordan Howard mixing in. If Carey doesn't return, which is considered questionable, he'll finish his night with just two carries for three yards and one catch for three yards -- numbers that don't reflect what appeared to be a major role increase from Week 1. Should he avoid an extended absence, Carey is shaping up as a major threat to Langford, who further hurt his own cause when he lost a fumble in the fourth quarter.
