Rolle's injury is described as a sprained knee, which suggests that he should be recovered well in advance of the 2016 season. In seven games for the Bears in 2015, Rolle logged 35 tackles. In a corresponding move, OT Tayo Fabuluje was reinstated to the team's active roster.
