Cupp was waived by the Cardinals on Monday.
Cupp signed with Arizona on Aug. 15, ultimately failing to record any stats in the team's 34-13 preseason loss to the Cowboys on Saturday. The tight end will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there's a chance he sticks around as a member of the Cardinals' practice squad in 2026.
