Mills signed a deal with the 49ers on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
The journeyman offensive tackle is joining his fifth team since entering the league in 2013, and he will compete with Jaylon Moore, Nick Zakelj and Spencer Burford for a role as a backup to starters Trent Williams and Mike McGlinchey.
