  • Vit Krejci SF | POR

Trail Blazers' Vit Krejci: Won't return Wednesday

Krejci won't return to Wednesday's game against the Suns due to a left ankle injury.

The extent of Krejci's ankle injury isn't yet clear, but for now, he should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers. If Krejci needs to miss time, Sidy Cissoko could pick up some extra minutes.

  • Derik Queen C | NO

Pelicans' Derik Queen: Stuffs stat sheet Wednesday

Queen contributed 20 points (8-21 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one block across 27 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 120-113 overtime win over the Jazz.

Queen didn't deliver his most efficient shooting performance but wasn't shy about hunting his shot en route to a season-high-tying scoring total. The second-year center also led the Pelicans in rebounds and assists, dishing out a season-high six dimes. He's scored 20 points in back-to-back outings and will likely continue seeing increased burn in Yves Missi's (knee) stead.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Erupts for 42 points in victory

Gilgeous-Alexander amassed 42 points (11-26 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 15-19 FT), eight assists, four rebounds and one block across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 124-116 win over the Cavaliers.

Gilgeous-Alexander turned in an efficient effort from three-point range and got to the charity stripe often en route to his second straight 40-plus-point performance. The superstar point guard also led all players in assists, dishing out eight dimes for a second consecutive contest as well. The Thunder should continue to rely heavily on the two-time MVP, as they'll be without Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Jalen Williams (leg) for most, if not all, of the campaign. Additionally, Chet Holmgren (knee) is expected to miss at least eight weeks.

  • Cedric Coward SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Scores 23 points with four steals

Coward tallied 23 points (8-19 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and four steals over 33 minutes in Wednesday's 107-103 loss to the Pacers.

Coward was coming off back-to-back 10-point performances, but he was much more aggressive seeking out his own shot Wednesday and cracked the 20-point plateau for the first time this season. He'll look to keep his momentum going into Friday's meeting with the Thunder.

  • Grizzlies' Isaiah Stewart: Exits Wednesday's defeat early

Stewart (knee) exited Wednesday's 107-103 loss to the Pacers and did not return, finishing with six points (3-4 FG) and one rebound in 10 minutes.

Stewart was deemed doubtful to return and never checked back in. His next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Thunder. If the big man needs to miss time, Quinten Post would likely see an uptick in minutes.

  • Nets' Michael Porter: Double-doubles with four triples

Porter provided 26 points (8-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 6-10 FT), 10 rebounds and two turnovers across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 114-104 win over the Hornets.

This was Porter's second double-double of the season and the 71st of his career. He's off to a solid start, posting top-40 value behind averages of 21.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.5 triples and 1.4 steals per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Doesn't return Wednesday

Allen (knee) exited to the locker room in the first quarter of Wednesday's 124-116 loss to the Thunder and did not return, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG) and one rebound in seven minutes.

Allen exited to the locker room with a right knee injury. The big man was deemed doubtful to return and did not check back in. If he needs to miss time, Thomas Bryant would likely see increased playing time behind Evan Mobley. Mario Hezonja could also see an uptick in minutes.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 33 points with five treys

Brunson recorded 33 points (10-17 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds and four assists over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 135-105 win over the Bulls.

Brunson got whatever he wanted against Chicago, leading his team in points and three-pointers made while posting a remarkable plus-33 plus/minus rating. After an 0-3 start to the season, the defending champs have gone 4-1 over their past five games.

  • Tyrese Proctor PG | CLE

Cavaliers' Tyrese Proctor: Exits Wednesday's loss early

Proctor exited Wednesday's 124-116 loss to the Thunder in the fourth quarter and did not return due to an apparent ankle injury, finishing with 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and one steal across 22 minutes.

Proctor got the starting nod for the first time this season and for just the second time in his career. He turned in a respectable performance on the offensive end but exited to the locker room late in the fourth quarter. The second-year guard can be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Sixers until Cleveland provides an update on his status. If Proctor needs to miss time, Meleek Thomas and Craig Porter could see increased burn.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Paces Indiana in victory

Nembhard notched 22 points (8-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 107-103 win over Memphis.

Nembhard returned from a one-game absence due to a cervical strain and saw a full workload. The 26-year-old guard led the Pacers in scoring and tied for the team lead in assists. He's recorded at least 22 points and four assists in each of his last three appearances and should continue seeing increased usage in Tyrese Haliburton's (hamstring) stead.
