Achiuwa will start Monday's preseason game against the Lakers, Khobi Price of The California Post reports.
With Keegan Murray (undisclosed) sitting out the Kings' preseason opener, Achiuwa will get the starting nod. The big man started 57 of his 73 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, though he's expected to come off the bench when the first unit is at full strength this year.
