Weathers (forearm) is slated to throw off the mound early next week, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
Weathers has been sidelined for the past three weeks with a left forearm flexor strain. He resumed flat-ground work earlier this week and will progress to throwing off the bump soon. Weathers remains optimistic about helping the Yankees as a reliever before the end of the regular season.
